Paula Patton was born in Los Angeles in a middle-class family. She grew up with big dreams. Her most memorable roles include the spy action film Mission: Impossible: Ghost Protocol, and the thriller Precious. While growing up living in Los Angeles with a middle-class mother, Patton had many desires. She was raised by a mom who loved watching movies. Paula participated in co-curricular activities at school and loved drama. Paula loved playing the role of an actor with her classmates and took part in school's stage shows. She acted in many performances at the high school of Hamilton Magnet Arts High School and decided to pursue acting as a profession. In a summer program offered by the University of Southern California, she thoroughly enjoyed her time there. She won a three-month assignment producing documentaries on behalf of PBS. The first assignment was to be a production assist for TV documentaries, after completing her project. After that, she began producing documentaries. Although she was awed by working in the field, she was aspired to become an actress. She started her career in acting by playing Will Smith's co-star on romantic comedy Hitch. She has since appeared in many popular movies and TV shows.
