Sheryl-Underwood

Sheryl Underwood was born in Arkansas, and was raised there. She became a TV host of the talk show on daytime The Talk. She was born and brought up in Little Rock. Sheryl comes from a troubled family. She spent most part of her youth taking care of Frankie. Frankie suffered from an illness called polio. While she was growing older it was not easy to get along with her mom. Sheryl says that at one instance her mother stabbed her father because he was getting too close to her. Sheryl joined up the military shortly after graduating from college. Sheryl's passion for comedy was evident. She was the only female to make it through the competition in 1989 Miller Lite Comedy Search. In 1992 she made her TV debut as a regular on the HBO show Def Comedy Jam. In 2000, she was a host on the TV program Oh Drama! In the past, she has been host on The Talk since 2011. In addition she has also played fictional roles in series including Bulworth Nikki and Beauty Shop.
