Fawn Mckay
Fawn McKay was born on 15 September 1915, in Ogden Utah. Fawn MacKay, born into the Mormon Church's founding family, used her astonishing abilities as a writer and her formidable research skills in order to produce the psycho-historical biographies about Joseph Smith. The book called No Man is a Master of My History was published in 1945. This title comes from a 1844 funeral sermon preached by the Church of Latter-Day Saints' founder. My history is unknown to anybody. There is no way for me to tell you. Fawn 29, a woman of 29 years old, has written: "Since that moment of candor, at least three writers have taken on the task." Some have tried to make a clinical diagnosis. Documents are not lacking and contradictory. Assembling these documents - sorting through third- and first-hand sources, fitting Mormons' narratives to other people's time-line - is a thorny task. This is interesting and instructive. Fawn brodie was professionally committed to the task. Her research and writing immortalized her with worldwide fame. Thaddeus Stevens. Scourge of the south (1959) The Devil Drives. Thomas Jefferson. The Intimate Histories (1974), and Richard Nixon.
